Enjoy the water with ease! The YYC Boat Club provides access to use club boats. Opening Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day for Pontoon Boat, and Kayaks & Paddleboards from July 1st until Labor Day.
YYC regular members may join the Boat Club for free and Associate members may join for $250. Please note, the pontoon boat does include a $35 fee for fuel each use.

To join, fill out an applicationand you will be notified once your application has been approved.
Once approved, you will be able to schedule use of the boats through the online booking portal.

PONTOON BOAT RULES
**PLEASE NOTE: When taking a vessel out, a Boat Club member must be present and on board. In addition, reservations can only be made by the same member 3 consecutive times and a 48-hour notice is required for any cancellations.
1. Obey all federal, New York, and local laws, ordinances, rules or regulations with respect to the use and operation of the Rental Equipment and obey all lawful directives of the Club and any law enforcement, whether federal or state, including the U.S. Coast Guard, Niagara Sheriff, or others, while operating the rental equipment.
2. Do not at any time dangle legs off the sides of the pontoon boat or other Rental Equipment. This is against the law and dangerous.
3. Do not use towable devices, including rafts, wake boards, water skis or similar items.
4. Please close and secure the front, side, and back doors with all riders inside before the Rental Equipment begins moving.
5. Do not consume, or be under the influence of any intoxicant, including alcohol, while operating the Rental Equipment.
6. Return all Rental Equipment in good working order and condition and if any Rental Equipment is damaged or lost, advise the Club immediately upon return. Renter will be personally financially responsible for all lost or damaged equipment at replacement cost.
7. Follow all posted speed limits and rules of navigation while on the water and stay clear of all other boats in operation on the water. Do not attempt to board another vessel from the rental equipment. You will be personally financially responsible for all damages to other vessels.
8. Do not not take vessel into Canadian waters and understand the boundaries as between US and Canadian waters and that different rules and regulations apply to the different countries’ navigable waters.
9. Do not allow anyone other than yourself to use or operate the Rental Equipment.
10. Do not place fuel in the gas tank, other than in an emergency situation.
11. Wear a life jacket for safety and in accordance with all legal requirements to do so as well as ensuring all minor children in their care, custody and control are wearing life jackets at all times for their safety.

Rent the Pontoon Boat
Enjoy a 3 hour cruise on a 20' Sun Tracker pontoon boat. In order to sign up to use a boat, users must pass the NY State safe boater course and be checked out by a qualified member of our staff. The boat can accommodate up to 10 people.

Rent an Ideal 18
Enjoy a 2 hour sail on our Idea 18 - #1. The Ideals are located in the harbor outside the Junior Sailing building and come equipped with a roller furling jib and a main on tracks. In order to sign up to use a boat, users must pass a sailing readiness test. The Ideal 18 can accommodate 2-4 sailors.
